07 TCH - I recently bought a replacement FOB

off of Ebay that matches my FOB exactly (info on the back of the remote FOB). Is there a way that I can program the FOB myself? Is there a sight that describes how to go this?

Also, can I take the valet key and have it cut to match my VIN?

My '08 TCH was missing the extra fob the dealer programed it with their diagnostic computer and ordered the valet key cut to match. I priced out the diagnostic computer @ $6500. I also have a VW TDI, I bought their software & plug online for $95 & loaded it on a laptop. I'm looking for a supplier of the Toyota diagnostic software.

I recently read that Toyota makes a credit card format SmartKey for the Lexus side of the family. Would it work on the TCH?

You CANT program the fob yourself. I bought my ney fob for $69 on ebay. Called 4 dealers and get 4 difiirent price ($35-$145) I got it programed for $35 no key cut. They did not have the key cut machine (WTF right). Not thay i will evet use the small key anyway.
