Installing OEM Navigation after the fact TCH

Is it possible to add the navigation unit with hybrid displays on the TCH after the fact (if vehicle came with normal cd player)? I really don't need the leather seats or any of the other features, but I really want the navigation unit.

Thanks!

Yes it is possible but very costly assuming you can find an installer and/or the Navi unit itself... The Unit itself and installation on top of that would be a major ouch - try asking the Dealership Parts person to get the price. Not factoring the hassle if the wiring/electronics have gremlins appear after spending several large. IMHO just buy the option when you purchase the car. This link from a previous inquiry may help...

I do not know why you would want it. As far as my experience the Toyota sat nav is the worst OEM unit that I have ever seen. It is nice to have the integrated hybrid displays, but if I had it to do over I would tell Toyota to stick their inferior nav unit up their @*%. I would have rather saved the money and bought a functional unit from Garmin or someone else.

No manure! I have three of these no good units, 2 Lexuses and one TCH and they are total junk, competition is way out in front on this!
