Where is the radio antenna on the 09 TCH?
Will a metal based tint material affect radio or navigation systems?
Is night driving visibility through side and back windows "lessened"?
Happy owners of tinted windows.....what brand/material did you use?
I am in Minneapolis area and probably have a number of film options, hopefully with experienced installers

Living in Florida I've always tinted my Cars and it reduces the interior temp and IMO adds to the looks. The radio antenna is in the rear window and the NAVI antenna is the round black ball at the front center of the dash (no effect unless you add an eyebrow-which I did not). On the TCH I went with Formula One Pinnacle Tint which is non-metallic and comes with a Lifetime warranty. I spent the extra $ for non-metallic tint as I have a Factory XM radio and the Xm antenna is on the rear deck inside the window so it must beam thru the rear window. I have no problem with XM and/or AM/FM signal. The night visibility is not lessened to any negative degree. My tint reflection is restricted by State Law so I bought 35/15/15. The only gotcha is that with the Factory auto rear mirror the tint does cause the autodim to take longer as it blocks the autodim mirror sensor from getting its signal later. My human vision is not hindered at night from this tint. I also experimented with a Valentine V1 detector from my V8 vehicle and it showed rear arrows just fine. I recommend Formula One Pinnacle non-metallic tint - it's worth the extra cost...
