Used 2007 Camry Hybrid

I recently bought Used 2007 Camry Hybrid with 31,000 miles on it. I would like to see some thoughts if my purchase is worth the price I paid. I paid $21,500+TTL (Texas). It has Alloys but no leather, no navigation.

SA_GUY,

These cars are a little insane right now but compared to what I have seen, you got a bargain. Our local dealer has a 2007 loaded with leather and nav but no moonroof at $27,900. By the way, it has 40,000 miles on the clock.

Thats more than I paid for mine (new) 10 months ago...

I'm surprised you were able to find a used TCH anywhere. We bought our '07 TCH for $28k (out-the-door) 15 months ago. It now has 18k miles. Wife's car so I rarely get to drive it.

Aside from the paint readily chipping off the door edges, we're pretty happy with it.

Hi SA_GUY, do the wheels on your TCH have 15 spokes each? If they do, please let me know if you'd like to change the wheels at some point. I'd like to make an offer if you want to sell it. You can email me at cendunsa@yahoo.com

MyCamryL09,
I am not sure what kind of wheels you are talking about but my camry has factory installed Alloy wheels which it came with. Also I am not selling them.

My 07 TCH which went into service in Aug 2006 now has 50k miles. It is base model with no leather, no moonroof, and no NAV (although I have put in all kinds of aftermarket mods). If I could sell or trade-in the car for $22k right now, I'd do it, because the wife and I are in the market for a minivan. I got the car for about $24.5k out of pocket ($27k MSRP - $2600 tax credit) so paying just $2.5k for 2 years worth of depreciation (not to mention fuel savings) would be wonderful.

You have made this same post in at least 2 other threads. You need to do some research before you make these posts. The 50th anniversary 15-spoke wheels is a OEM option, which means that you are paying extra to get them! If somebody didn't want them in the first place, you would just buy the car with the stock wheels and save the money.

I DID my research and I DO know that they are OEM option. Nevertheless, some people have their own preferences and change mind all the times. All I'm looking for is an interested person who happens to have a similar thought in mind. If you just want to criticize and don't even have wheels to offer, then don't waste your time and others to write such statements!!!

Take you own advice newbie. Don't make posts in threads that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter. Just PM the person offline!

Now back to the subject matter at hand, since I'm not one to threadjack...

This thread made me interested in finding out the current value of my 07TCH with 50k miles, so I took a look at Autotrader.com this morning. There are several 07 TCH's with over 30k miles on them, base models (no leather, no NAV, and no moonroof) which are listed for $33k+!!! Now of course those cars might never sell at that asking price, but I wouldn't have even imagined that they would be listed for that much. With all the upgrades I've put into my car (see my signature), if I could sell it for the high 20's, like maybe $28k, then I would strongly have to consider it and getting the minivan that my family really needs.

Fellas,

First, let's treat one another with some Toyota Community support! Second, the $21k is a fair price - congrats. I just picked up an '09 with all options (leather, nav, convenience, premium, spoiler, ... the works) for just over $30.5k. Again, not invoice, but an ok discount from the $33k MSRP considering the market for these cars. I surmise the used market is a function of supply and demand & your cars are very much in demand! Good luck and safe travels.
