Invisible Mask Experience?

on an 09 TCH? I've read threads on paint chipping concerns with the Camry. Has anyone installed the Invisible Mask on the hood/fenders/mirrors and the front bumper/grille assembly? Any recommendations on 1 versus the other based on where you're seeing early chip damage?

How hard is installation? The website makes it sound pretty straightforward. Thanks.

MightyHybrid,

Thanks. I plan to order from InvisibleMask.com's second catalog that explicitly lists the hybrid. I'll follow your lead and get the hood/fenders/mirrors AND the bumper/grille (looks like a BBEEEOOOTCH to install!) patterns.

Bumper

Hey Pharmdude, when you place your order online (from the second cataglog) be sure to choose "WITH TOW HOOK". That includes the cutout for the little square cover on the bumper (located to the left of the license plate).

Knowing that my TCH doesn't have a Tow Hook on the rear bumper I ordered the sheet "Without Tow Hook". Damn!!!! I wish they had better described it. But I applied it without the opening anyway. I mean how often would I be needing to be towed from the front? When and if I do need to be towed I'll slit it open.

So you may want to think about that.

No probs! Remember, keep the sheet wet and you can never screw it up. You can keep re-positioning it until you're satisfied. Good luck and have fun!

Question Indiana installers?

Has anyone had experience with the Invisi-mask being installed by someone in Indiana (preferably central or north part of the state)?

I am a klutz with things like this and would like to protect my 08 TCH. Of course I would like a good price and knowledge that the work (and material) would be top quality.

I am in Lafayette but would be willing to travel an hour or so for a good deal and good work.

Same here - anyone know of a reputable place in the Calgary, Alberta area that could install it for less than the dealership?

So is it better to get the 3M Scotchgard or the Invisi-Shield?

Also, I was wondering if anyone has heard of the headlights getting chipped? I noticed they sell a kit for them and was surprised. I wouldn't expect that to happen.

Sounds easy enough to install.

Too bad paint is so weak now that this seems like a must-do.
