System Phone Speaker

If I receive a call over the TCH system speaker and decide I do not want everybody in the car to hear it, is there a way to shut the spaker off and continue the conversation over the phone rather than the speaker?

Per the owners manual, you must look in the manual that came with your cell phone for instructions on how to transfer your call back to the phone. (P. 244 of the '07 Hybrid manual)

The TCH radio is just a glorified bluetooth headset. You need to go to your cell phone, and there should be an option to "turn off headset" during a call.

press the phone button on the steering wheel and it should get you to the phone screen, and press the "transfer call" button, this should transfer the call to your phone, and then revert back to the bluetooth speaker system once youre done with that call.

System Phone Speaker

The brand needs no introduction; it's been at the forefront of PC audio since a while now. Speaker systems and soundcards are the areas of core competency for Creative and they have never let us down, they have always been the pioneers in upgrading the audio experience especially in case of mainstream soundcards and multi-channel speaker systems.
