Hybrid Inventory Going Up?

I was hanging out at one of the local dealerships waiting for my car to be serviced and noticed a couple of TCHs in stock as well as 3 Prius models. With gas prices going back down all over the place, I'm wondering if the demand for these things has gone down. Only a month ago or so the "waiting list" era was at its peak.

Heck, maybe it's because no one can get financed for a new car...or they can't dump their used car...or a combination. Ok, I'll stop. My nose is about to start bleeding from thinking too much.

Just wanted to see what everyone else has observed elsewhere.

Think you're right about the the credit crunch that has hit even the hybrid buyers, and fewer folks can get a decent car loan.
