My wife and I are considering selling her 2005 Subaru Legacy GT for a 2009 Camry Hybrid. We like the car but would prefer the SE styling, have any of you been able to work with the dealer to get that without purchasing it after the fact? I've done a search and found posts with aftermarket kits, but I'm interested in just paying the difference and getting it directly from the dealer.
Thanks,
Current owner of a 2008 Highlander Limited and hopefully soon to be owner of a Camry Hybrid.

The factory does not build a Hybrid with a the SE body kit only thru aftermarket. A few TN members have added aftermarket body kits and they look very good.
Not from the factory but some have done it. There is one Magnetic Grey Hybrid with dual exhaust (obviously the left is a fake) and a bodykit and wheels so it really looked like an SE with a hybrid grille and badges and rear lights to the casual observer as opposed to a Hybrid with SE kit.

The cost of the parts to make it look like an SE would be more than you are saving in fuel costs.
Better off just buying the SE and putting the little hybrid logo on the rear.
I've thought of buying one for our SE-V6 just to so people would wonder how I got a hybrid with SE trim and dual exhausts.
I installed an aftermarket Razzi kit and am very happy with it. I have received a lot of compliments on the car. Love the sporty look. My toyota dealer wanted to buy it back to resell it!
Razzi looks good but $1500 painted and you still have to something with the grill from what I can tell + installation if you aren't able to do it yourself.
$1500 will buy a lot of gas when the Hybrid only list 3mpg better than the I-4.
I figured that at $3.50 a gallon for gas that my V-6 only cost me a penny a mile more for fuel.
Toyota gave me a $1000 for buying the V-6 so that works out to 100,000 miles they are paying the difference for me. YMMV.
let me check out the price of pirus there and then will tell you about it.wat is this camry hybrid then? isnt it petro-electric engine? please do tell me about the transmission of this hybrid car?
