More rattling frustration... 07 CH with

44,000 miles and now I have disturbing rattles between the dash and the dash speakers... if you press down on the dash next to the speakers the rattle stops... any suggestions on what I can do to stop this rattle? Is there a "filler" or lubricant that I can use?

I had a similar problem with my 07 Prius. After 3 tries, the dealer installed a "dash insulation kit". That took care of the problem. The dash actually felt more solid, and there were no more squeaks or rattles from the dash. I don't know what the "dash insulation kit" was, but it looked like a Toyota part number on the invoice. They did it under warranty, so I have no idea what the cost might have been.
