I hear this low frequency noise at acceleration and braking on my 2007 TCH and can be heard even when Stereo is on. Toyota Dealer told me that it is the electric engine going on and off. This is different noise from the whinning noise you hear when car comes to a stop. Originally there were issues with rear brakes and Dealer replaced all four brakes due to TSB. I wonder if this is normal for all TCH?

Could be one of thr mice that turns the wheel in the cage has passed on lol!!
