Is anyone aware of any deals available when signing up for Sirius radio? My trial subscription recently ended and I'd like to renew at the best rate possible. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheapest subscription that I know of is to become a part of someone else. My son is the primary subscription and I am the secondary. My subscription is like only 8 buck a month this way.

A friend of mine informed me that he purchased a life-time subscription recently. I do not know if fact or if still available. He seemed sincere so you can always call Sirius and ask for details/promotions.

I purchased a lifetime subscription for $399.00 You can transfer it up to 3 times. I signed up for it jan 09. Hope that helps.

So did I, and got a credit for the unused portion of my annual fee. I figure that in 3 years I will break even. However, did they also tell you that they charge $75 each of the up to 3 times you transfer it? Kind of chintzy, since they don't charge multi-year subscribers.
