Everyone tell me to buy VENZA instead of TCH 2010

I have been a long admirer of the TCH but only now that I am ready to buy another car. I am about to pull the trigger until relatives, coworkers tell me to serious consider the VENZA for the same price. I like it too but what about my dream TCH?

I know you guys are definitely bias but convince me to get a TCH please.

Gas mileage alone? We get 38 to 39MPG on Interstates. Venza is in the 20's MPG. We looked at the Venza, and to get anywhere near a loaded out TCH it would have to be a stripped Venza. As I recall the loaded out Venza is pushing $40,000.

So...........consider it..........and then buy what you want.

Some weak people like to be told what to do and some sure need to be told.

Its pretty simple really. What do you need the car for? If you need to haul stuff from time to time get the Venza. If its just the daily driver with no need to haul stuff get the TCH. You dont wanna be one of "those" people that get a SUV type vehile just to puttz around town even tho they have no need for it.

What Shawn said. The Venza is really good value but honestly, those 19 or 20" rims are gonna be $$$ to replace. The mileage is doubled with the TCH and it's been updated for 2010.

Insurance is cheaper, fuel is cheaper, maintenance is cheaper (larger gap if you're looking at the AWD version).

What more do you need?

"Everyone" -- the ones telling you to buy a Venza -- is (are?) out of their collective minds......

Really, it depends on the kind of vehicle you want. I can only tell you that we wouldn't trade our TCH for any conventional vehicle.

I am curious, your post states that "everyone" has told you to buy the Venza so you come to a camry hybrid board for what?

I have to agree with one post, get a spine and make your own decision.

Your choice of wording is extremely poor especially when you imply "everyone" says buy the Venza and you tell this to owners of Camry Hybrid group.

I guess camry hybrid owners are not anyone, if you are looking for comparison or vehicles then you should say so, and not imply the the Venza is so much better because "everyone" has told you so.
