USA Replace Camry Hybrid 07 with Prius 2010?

I currently own a Camry Hybrid 07 (32 months old) and a Yaris Sedan 08 (10 months old). I am seriously considering the Prius 2010 but I want to replace either the Camry or the Yaris with the P2010. Although the Hybrid was bought in October 2006, it has held its value much better than the Yaris bought last year. I have been looking at the pros and cons of both the trade-in possibilities & would appreciate some help.

yaris has lost it value rapidly and I am thinking of replaing it before it goes down further and does not give any benefit when traded. While I am considering camry H as my trade-in because it will bring in more money & I will may minimal sales tax as the difference is 6-7K.

A lot depends not just on $$$, but also on your personal preferences.

I was at the dealer this weekend for an oil change and spent my time looking at the cars in the showroom. One thing I noticed about the '09 Prius that they had there is that I would not want to have to spend a lot of time in those seats compared to the TCH. I don't know enough about upgrade options on a Prius if better seats are available in a higher trim line.

The 2010 Prius seats are much better. The TCH gets Yaris mileage anyway so I'd trade the Yaris for the Prius (and you still keep the flexibility of a hatchback in your fleet). At $22,000, the Prius II is very well equipped (one-touch power windows, Touch Tracer, auto-climate control, 6-speaker CD stereo, power heated mirrors etc etc). If you want bluetooth, then it's only $1,000 to the Prius III (along with a JBL audio with 8 speakers and a CD Changer)

My wife and I were looking to buy a hybrid.

We drove the prius and really did not like it. Way too loud and the interior material is just too cheap.

We ended up with a 2009 Camry Hybrid.

Paid $26,400 for a fully loaded Camry hybrid with leather, navi, heated seats, and sunroof.

For $26,000 i would only be able to get a prius III with navigation.

We simply can't stand prius's rough character.

2010 Prius rough

I agree with KrispyKreme. I've been thinking about trading in my 2009 Camry Hybrid for a 2010 Prius IV and really do not like the rough ride and noise of the 2010 Prius. The seats are also not that comfortable even though they added lumbar support. One of the reasons I was considering trading was because my Camry Hybrid gets lousy gas mileage. I average about 28 but I know it's because of the hills I travel here in Los Angeles. But I figure, 28 MPG is still decent for a semi-luxury car. There is just no comparison.
