I have an 09 TCH.
Would it be possible to bridge off the amp, under the front passenger seat, to work with sub woofers in the trunk in addition to the factory sound system?

Yes it could be done,in 2 different ways.1-connect a line level adapter at the amp side under the seat or 2-a line level adapter at the rear 6X9's on the back deck.The second option would be easier since you are probably going to mount your sub amp in the rear anyways.The line level adapter converts speaker outputs to rca's,but you will still need a remote turn on for the amp.Good luck on your install.
