2009 Camry Hybrid LE - purchase consideration

Hi - I found a deal on 2009 (not 2010) Camry Hybrid LE - basic model for $25,500. Is this a good deal? Anything I should be wary of?

Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

don't touch the orange wires, or try to fix/adjust the hybrid system without training, other than that, they are pretty good. some have dash rattle, easy fix at dealership.

No, $25,500 is not a very good deal on the base hybrid model. That's only a few hundred dollars off of MSRP ($1000-ish if it includes destination). You should be able to get significantly more off the price. Fitzmall Toyota is selling a 2009 Hybrid that has an MSRP of $29,833 for just under $26,000. If it is truly a basic hybrid model with no options, (There are no Hybrid "LE" models) $25,500 is a horrible price. I'd offer $4000 off of MSRP, and if they squabble, go to fitzmall, spend $500 more, and get one with a moonroof, upgrade package, heated mirrors, and floormats. You'll spend a bit on shipping, but still, you are getting a much better value for the money.

To be honest, If you are comfortable paying that amount for the car, I'd wait until the 2010 models come out. They won't carry as big of discount, but you really aren't getting a great price as it is.
