TCH Bluetooth/Phone problems?

I couldn't find any other threads on this, but at least weekly I lose the ability to be heard when talking over my built in hands free bluetooth in my '08 TCH with Nav. My phone is a Blackberry Curve from Verizon Wireless.
Can't figure out if it's interference from others or a problem with my set up. I hear the caller no problem each time, it's just me they can't hear... Very frustrating.
Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Can you try the phone in another car? That might tell you if it is the phone of the car. Also try pairing another phone to your TCH.

I have a new Verizon Storm. I will try and connect with Bluetooth in TCH and let you know what happens. Maybe a day or two as it is my wife,s car.

BlueTooth phone problem

Ever get a resolution?

Happened to me recently on my newly purchased 2007 TCH.. Indeed occasionally the called party heard my voice as very distorted. Hard to catch -- intermittent -- finally caught it -- was able to show the dealer by recording an address book entry with my recorded voice playing back as very distorted.

Dealer adjusted some internal signal/volume level -- there is a service bulletin regarding this.

So far, so good!

Thanks for the heads up on the TSB about this; I'm glad/encouraged the dealership was able to fix the problem on yours.
I never really got anywhere with mine except to figuring out that outside noise (like moonroof tilted up) affects the mic. But even after closing things up, I seem to have to wait til the TCH is shut down and restarted, then reboot the phone, to get a two way bluetooth conversation going again.
Of course my bluetooth whining is nothing compared to all the gas pedal/floor mat issues that I was first told by the dealership not to worry about for my TCH due to its Japanese made pedal, and then recently sent a recall notice...
