2010 Hybrid...a few Q's

Hey all,

I am interested in the '10 Camry Hybrid. I like the new front styling! Anyway, i have a few simple questions:

1. Why is that the Camry does not have ACTIVE HEADREST??? Practically every car in its class has it. And this has resulted in a poor rear end score from IIHS. The Avalon has had it since 2009 model year. With the midcycle refresh, you would think that Toyota would have added it by now to its bread & butter car.

2. What kind of mileage are you guys getting at 70 mph highway cruise?? I commute at least 70 miles each day on the highway...i just want to be sure that i will be getting good MPGs.

3. Have you guys testdriven the '10 Fusion Hybrid?? I did that recently and was not impress with it. I have NOT driven the Camry Hybrid. If you have testdriven the Fusion Hybrid, then how does the Camry powertrain compare?? Is the Camry hybrid more invisible/smoother???

Thanks in advance.

We have a 2008 Camry Hybrid and enjoy it a great deal. On the open road at 65 to 70 we can get as high as 40 to 41 MPG. We just finished a 2500 mile trip and got right at 40.6 MPG for the whole trip.
It is very quiet and a nice ride. You will not go wrong with the Toyota quality.

ditto, It is by far the most impressive car I have ever owned. I averaged 39-41 at 65-70mph.

I have a 09 TCH and I have drove the Fusion Hybrid. I enjoyed the Ford more...weird, but yes, it had better steering feel.
