Seriously, Z06 pads for my Corvette cost less. And whats the deal with Japanese versus North American production?

Parts guy: "Is it Japanese or North American production?
Jim: "No clue, Its an '07 Camry."
Parts guy: "It makes a difference. They take different pads depending on where it was made"
Jim: "Oh really, I dont recall being asked that question for any of the other parts I bought."
Parts guy: "Can you check the VIN?"
Jim: "F'ck. Let me walk out to the garage."
