Brake Wear

I have 2007 Camry hybrid with 58,000 miles on it. Brakes still good Can anyone give me some idea when they replaced brakes front or rear I am told rears go first. Has anyone tried the aftermarket slotted and drilled rotor pad combination. Thanks

Your brakes are still good yet you don't know the respective pad thicknesses? You should be able to answer your own question....

It is understanding that the brake pads on TCH will last much longer than non-hybrid one because TCH uses electrical regenerative braking as well as normal hydraulic braking.
How many times will they last longer ?

I checked the pad thickness on the rear discs during a tire rotation and discovered that one pad was worn a lot more than the other, ( and the same for the other side ) so I switched them to even up the wear. Be aware that the I should have changed them from side to side to keep the wear indicators in the correct orientation, but since I rotate my own tires I can check them every 5k and it won't be an issue. If I was really on the ball I would have taken the caliper apart to see if it was lubed right. Something definitely is amiss since the pad wear was more than double on one side. I called my favorite service writer at my local Toyota dealer and told him about this problem and he wasn't aware of any other instances. But I put over 100 miles a day on my car ( an '07, 82k so far ) and I may be the Guinea Pig for this situation.
