Rattles in doors and rear tray. Dynamat?
As I'm sure many of you have experience with 07 and up camry's, the stock stereo (especially NHL) has incredible bass. However, the doors and rear tray really rattle. I've tried alot, and as tacky as it sounds, nickles jammed between panels where the door meets the storage area by the floor Is the only thing helping right now. I was thinking of dynamatting the whole door and rear tray, which is proven to eliminate vibration. But herein lies the big question: as these surfCes act as the speakers housing, and speaker housing need to vibrate to make sound, will doing so harm the bass? I have no intentions to add subs and an amp to a camry hybrid. Small trunk, great stock bass, and the electromagnetic issue (assuming it isn't a good idea). So, will dynamatting inbrtween the door and panels and door plastic and the rear tray and metal deck underneath hurt the bass output or help it?
