Exclamation 2010 TCH new owner

Location: Laffayette, Indiana
Dealership: Bob Rohrman Auto Group

Just purchased a new 2010 TCH.
Looked at the 2011's...but they were without any real incentives or discounts...about 200.00$ more than the 2010's.

MSRP. $26,150.00
Optional Equipment. $474.00.
Delivery/Processing/Handling Fee. $750.00
Total.$27,378.00

Here is what I got and what I paid:

Offer accepted:$25,500.00@ 0.9% for 60 months

2 year service plan for returning customer...free.

Indiana title fee.$15.00

Service policy:8 years, 100,000 mile Bumper to Bumper W/Guaranteed Asset Protection(GAP)
total: $2,441.00.

State and local taxes:$1,962.87

Tire tax and DOC fee:$149.00

Total:$30,177.87

With all of my other new Toyota purchases...always turned down the extended offers(everything).
Only purchased this one because of all of the electronics and possible things that could go wrong.Battery was told to replace would cost 3,000 to 4,000 dollars.
Will most likely trade it for a new one before the extdd. warranty is done.

My question...did I get ripped off?
If I did...don't be too harsh w/ comments LOL

Yep...I agree...had a dumb ass attack!

Live and re-learn!

First time ever that I have gotten "extended protection" on any of my newly bought vehicles...never again!

LOL...no more comments will be needed...I GOT IT!

Paid DOUBLE for the protection plan. Cancel it and buy elsewhere.

Already cancelled it....comes off the back of my loan.

The "Finance Manager" said he wasn't aware that the Hybrid system was actually covered by the standard Toyota warranty for 96 months or 100,000 miles...the extended warranty was 80 months or 100,000 miles.

All taken care of now....feel better now!

Which optional packages did you purchase? I just traded up from our 2007 TCH to a 2010 TCH but it was only offered at 2.9% last month. No incentives were available on the 2011 TCHs.

I paid $500 over invoice for a loaded TCH with moonroof (SR), heated leather (LA+CQ), NAV (UT+UP), etc. Asked for fog lights but the dealer said they didn't have the kit for these yet nor did their 3rd party installers. I also added body side moldings and the 3M film on the hood, fenders, mirrors and door edges.

I really like the new front end on the TCH and the 10 spoke metallic alloys look much nicer than the 6 spoke painted gray alloys.

And, I declined all extended warranty/GAP coverages. I asked the finance manager what the MTBF of the ECM module was. His expression was priceless!

Nice pics!

Is your grille silver paint colored or chrome? It's hard to tell.

I'm considering converting my car to the '10 Hybrid front end.

The 2010/2011 TCH grill is satin chrome finished (feels like plastic) as is the facia on the rear trunk lid. Headlight assembly is also a bit different - they changed the parking/turn signal light. Tail lights are also a bit different with red LEDs now in a clear lens vs the red LEDs under a ruby lens.

I love it when people are caught in a lie. I would have shown him the sales brochure with the specific coverages highlighted.

Then I would have asked said manager how long they've been working at their jobs - and that I didn't appreciate being treated as an uneducated child.

Buying Camry

I paid $21,600 plus tax and tags. for my 2009 Camry Hybrid off the dealer's floor. It is a basic Hybrid. It had only 4 miles on it when I bought it.
