I have a 2009 Camry Hybrid with about 8000 miles. I noticed it was pulling to the right and took it in to the dealer's service dept. They told me that the lower control arm was bent - and suggested that I might have done that hitting a pothole or a kerb. They recommended that I should replace the same, and to do so would take about 7.5 hours of labor, and along with the cost of the parts, would be $980.
I do not recall hitting a pothole or the kerb so hard that it would have bent the lower control arm. Regardless, can anyone tell me if indeed I could have bent the control arm doing whatever I did and that it would cost $980, i.e., it would take 7.5 h.
Thanks for your thoughts.
