Body Side Moldings?

Has anyone here installed body side moldings on their TCHs? Just wondering how easy they are to install....

Simple, i read the directions and will do mine this wekend. 13 inch at the front wheel well and 13 1/2 at the back. Stretch a piece of masking tape end to end. Line up the 2 pieces at the door and slowly uncover the pressure adhesive as you line it up. done

These have to be pretty easy to install. Just follow the instructions. The dealer want $235 installed!

I agree- my school only has one parking lot that staff and students share- and lots of people pull in with their crapmobiles and think nothing of smashing their doors into the body panels of other cars.

Yes, the cars look better without them, but I'll take a piece of molding over a bunch of dents anyway. Our school board will pay for any damage done to a teacher's car while in the lot, but it takes forever for them to reimburse you or to okay your claim.

I would never buy a car without these strips- they have prevented many dings and dents in my case.

molding

The doors on this car are wide and flat. I bet dings and dents show up real easily. Ya I admit it will not look as clean thoguh.

I was going to add BSMs (body side moldings) to my '09 Camry, but I think others are right. The chance of catching other car's doors on the added moldings are pretty small - what with the different designs of cars these days... not to mention the tall SUVs.

I just wanna be safe from the other sh##@$%boxes that park next to my car at the insurance lot and at the mall. Most new car folks value their own cars but other low do show slugs could give a rip. JMO Plan on keeping this sucker to 100k or more.
