Removing Bells & Whistles!!

Anybody got a "hack" to turn off some of the most annoying bells and beeps from a 2010 TCH? I asked the dealer to disconnect the beeping when the door is closed, the engine is running, and I exit for a second. He couldn't figure that one out. I then asked for the seat belt reminder beeping to be disconnected. He said he could not disconnect that since it was a safety issue.

Dealers CAN disable the seatbelt chime, but some choose not to for the reason you stated. Sometimes if you force the issue, they will give in. Other times you need to take it to a dealer who will. At my dealer I told them that is their choice, but I will choose to have my service completed at the dealer who can turn it off. Suddenly, that safety issue was no longer an obstacle.
