Overhead Console Access

Hi all - I have a question regarding the overhead console on a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid (TCH). Hopefully I'm in the right place...

I want to access the wiring harness for the powered mirror but I cannot seem to figure out how to open the overhead console. Is there a secret? I did read that some have forcibly opened the console by yanking on it; however, I don't want to break anything. I also looked in my owners manual but that doesn't show anything either. I've been searching the net for a few days now trying to figure this out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you had searched the TN threads, you might have found it.......instead we have just another repeat thread to clutter up the forum .....and make future searches take longer.

Curl your fingers up under the edge closest to the windshield.
Then pull down and towards the rear of the car.

The console had 3 large prongs near the sunroof controls (the side closest to the rear of the car). There were only 2 small nubs on the side with the sunglass holder (the side closest to the windshield).
