I just purchased my 2011 TCH from a local dealer. I had asked for fog lights and only noticed that they were missing after taking possesion (I wasn't charged for them). When I asked about it the showroom manager told me that fog lights are unavailable on the hybrid model, and that he's had this conversation with many customers before. I pointed out that the website lets you configure with foglights and he agreed that it was wroing of Toyota to let you think something is available when it is not.
Anyway, last week I'm in the mall and go to what I think is my car, a 2011 hybrid, same color, same everything... but with fog lights, of course.
So, do any of you know if fog lights available and being shipped with the 2011 TCH? Perhaps the car I saw (I took cellphone pics) had aftermarket lights, but it sure looks factory to me. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't appreciate being lied to by my dealer.

Your dealer is either clueless or lying to sell a vehicle that day.
Uninformed buyers are always scratching their heads after the purchase.
Foglights are a $130 list price factory option but require either the UP (upgrade) or the UT (NAV) package. Like this one:

Not uninformed, but misinformed. This Maryland dealer twice told me that options available on the website are not available in real life.
1. Dealer said that TCH was not generally available in dark gray with beige interior. Dealer explained that even though the website lets you configure it that way, it would have to be an expensive special order.
2. Dealer told me that fog lights were simply not produced with the hybrid, possibly for powersaving-related reasons.
I did due diligence on #1 and found the dealer was being truthful, so I trusted him on #2, which now turns out to be completely wrong.
I would give the dealer the benefit of the doubt and say that he simply overlooked my request for foglights, and I failed to notice it when I payed for and picked up the car. I don't have a problem with the error but I do have a problem with the lying once the error was discovered, rather than making an effort to correct the situation. Given my loyalty to this dealer I deserve better than deceit. This will be reflected in any survey I may receive.

The dealer just may be behind the times. If the dealer was talking about the 2007-09 Hybrid, he would be right- they were not available with fogs period. They became available after the mid-cycle update in 2010, and continue to be available in 2010 in certain circumstances.

HA, expensive factory order? He just wanted to sell you what he had or could quickly get.
I'll stick with uninformed. If I'm spending $20,000+, I just won't ask a dealer salesman for information. I'll look at the Toyota website, kbb.com and a number of othe Camry info sites.
If color, interior and fog lights are important enough to complain about after the fact they should be important enough to perform due diligence before the fact.
As the saying goes "they are born every minute" along with impulse buyers.
That survey will really shake them up as they continue to lie, tell half truths and do anything else to sell a car on the lot every single day.
I can confirm that foglights are available on the 2011 TCH. In fact I just got one 2 weeks ago. Yes, I was told by TWO dealerships that they are not available, I was told by one dealership that "you don't want them". I finally found one who would check the box to have them added at the factory for me and they got my business. Of course their $300 under invoice price also helped
