Tyre Calibration?

Hi! new here, and to TCH's in general. Been lurking around and reading all the good info.

Can anyone fill me in on the tyre calibration function in the settings menu?

When I hit adjust it tells me its already set up for best result? Is this something only a dealer can do? I have 18's on mine and the speedo is out according to my external GPS. I wondered if this was possible to rectify through this function or is it just a gadget for the dealers.

Ta in advance

Chances are slim you will get an answer. Better to call your dealer. I check in here every few weeks and not much changes. Usually pretty dead. Days go by before anyone replys to questions. Good luck. [hoping this helps get a reply]

Thanks for the response. This has a few people stumped including the dealer. "Something they do when servicing it", "Maintains the calibration on the econometer". Sounds like R&D guy got carried away and forgot about practicality. Shame it would be nice to get the 18's spot on. Spent 4 years driving around with 33's on my Hilux with a speedo out by 10+ kms.

Still great car though!
