gen 7 JBL 6-disc weird problems

My JBL radio has been doing some really weird things. It seems it only happens when it is really cold. Just wondering if anyone else out there has the same. My display will go blank or, show strange characters. Buttons will do functions they should not and, disks will eject from the unit all by them selves. Also, the led's next to the slot will blink randomly, This will either last for a while or, for as long as I am in the car. Doesn't happen when weather is warmer. Should I get this looked at? Thanks!

This also happens to me once in a while. It typically goes away when I shut the car down and restart it.

Yeah, mine works ok when the temp is warmer. Has been in low single digits and lower lately. Think I'll mention it to the service dept just to see what they say. Thanks

I've been keeping notice about this and oddly enough I haven't had this issue in a few months now. I only noticed it on cold mornings in the fall. But when winter is here and the temperatures are even colder...nothing out of the ordinary happens...

It has gotten to the point now that the display is blank all the time and different buttons do different things than they are supposed to. I'm taking it in to my dealer on Monday to see what they say. Lucky I have the extended warranty!

When it take place take a pic and bring it to toyota service so they can order you a new radio its just the begining of the head unit going bad. Its a common problem with toyota radio's (which are not made by toyota their actually made by panasonic & some other company which I forgot) get it replaced for a new 1 before its too late

Yeah, I already did get it replaced. Cost me $430.00 for a re-manufactured one. They told me it would eventually quit all together so I bit the bullet.
