Anyone experience this
In my introduction I mentioned my 07 TCH had been problem free and that was not entirely true.
Just yesterday it went to the dealer for a check.
When I went to use it the ambient temp was a frigid -21 C or about -3 F. It started fine and I drove the 5 minutes to my daughters. 10 minutes later when I hit the button it displayed the warning check hybrid system and when I turned it off it I got an audible warning "battery condition or charge low".
Later in the morning I took it to the dealer, they did hear the audible warning but came up with no fault found. They also did a check on all 3 battery systems, the 12 volt, the drive batteries and the remote battery and again could detect no faults. After being in their warm shop for 30 minutes all warnings ceased. During this time the car performed normally and the even the dash battery condition indicator showed normal.
To put the record straight 3 other items have been corrected since new, the silly carpet recall, poor am radio reception and a rattle in the dash.
