Hey guys, newb here. I am looking at buying a new 2011 campy hybrid tomorrow. I found one in magnetic gray with leather and nave that the deqlernis asking $28988 for. The only catch isnit was a demo and has 6000 miles on it. I told him I would consider it for 27 and he acted like I was crazy. What's the best price you have seen on these? Anyone done aftermarket nav on these, if so how do you like it?
Warranty starts from the day you drive it off so the 6K isn't a biggie if you get the right deal. Run a VIN check on it and make sure it hasn't ever been titled. You don't want a "demo" that is actually a car somebody returned for some reason.
It is new, never titled. Sticker was $33k. It's loaded. I got them down to $26,800. Think I will pull the trigger.
That's a pretty good deal, I think. Per my fancy spreadsheet (from CarBuyingTips.com, with data from Consumer Reports) the best deal I could probably get on a fully loaded new TCH would be about $30,300, inclusive of the adjustment for the $534 dealer holdback and allowing for a 4 percent profit for the dealer ($1,160 -- too generous?) and before the $760 destination charge. Out the door, with the destination charge, taxes, license fee and a $475 "advertising fee" the dealers here tack on, it would cost me $34,870.
That's still less expensive than the other hybrid I'm considering -- the Ford Fusion hybrid.
Anyway, 6,000 dealer miles on the car is not bad at all. I've bought several cars out of rental fleets with more miles than that on 'em and had good luck with all of them. If you like this car, go for it!

I got one at Toyota of Naperville (Near CHICAGO) in the Aloe Green- Loaded with Nav/Suirius/ Leather etc.... after 4 hours of talking with them I got it for $26,200... it also was a Demo that they had certified.... LOVE THE CAR!
I've been back and forth this week with a local boston area dealer on a 2011 Camry Hybrid. Toyota's is running 0 % financing with $800 cash rebate, so I figured now's the time to buy. Got a $23.5K price on a base Camry Hybrid with floor mats, boby side mouldings, and door edge guards. however the wife and I test drove a Camry Hybrid with all the bells/whistles: NAV/DVD system, leather seats, moon roof, convience packages, etc/ Aftyer thinking about it over-night, she wanted the decked-out model so back to the dealer I went. This Camry lists at $33, 577 and got a $28,750 price. Only extra is the $300 dealer prep charge. Is this a fair price of am I smoking the Dealer's dope?

Sounds like a good price to me.
Your Camry listed for $500 more than mine and you're paying $1K less than I did in Sept and I feel I got a good deal.
