Thumbs down Navigation Disc not working?

so the past week, the navigation has been iffy on my 2010 camry hybrid. if i try to enter a new address or press the "map" button, sometimes it blanks out, and then will say "no navigation disc inserted", which obviously, there is- as i've never taken it out. strangely enough, it'll start to work again after messing it for about 10 minutes. what gives? how do i eject the disc? i can see the slot for it, but there is on eject button for the navigation disc itself, as far as i can tell. any help would be greatly appreciated!

mine ejects from command on nav screen. you pop it open then follow instructions on the screen.

it prolly just damaged or dirty. don't you still have warranty on all this? besides, that YOU never had it out does not mean that SOMEONE ELSE didn't, unless you are Robinson Crusoe.

When you pres the open button, you will see an icon for each of the CDs in the changer, the nav disc is an icon below that.

For the problem that you are having I would recommend resetting/rebooting the system. You can do this by ejecting the disc, then disconnecting the 12v battery in the boot of the car. Just pull the lead and leave it off for about 5-10 minutes. When you reconnect the battery, the screen will ask you to re-insert the nav disc. Following that, the system will re-boots and load up the nav disc. This may help, I am not sure.

I would start by ejecting the disc as razol has described above, cleaning it then re-insert it into the drive to see if that resolves the problems. If that doesn't clear up the nav performance then I would do the reboot procedure.
