XLE Wood in Camry Hybrid

I just got a set of XLE wood on the cheap. (Dash pieces only) I know the shifter is different.

Anyone know how much trouble it is to fit in the Hybrid?

TALK TO ME.

what do you mean you got wood?

stickers? or the complete panels? i looked into this about 6 mths ago, as i was very impressed with Camry looks with wood trim.

was even stupid enough to dump $400 into the glue on "trim" kit that i returned right away, it was so ugly in real life.

so, what you have? Camry parts supposed to be compatible 2010 to 2007. i still have dealer parts numbers somewhere, it's for central console compartment, storage door, and i think shifter panel. totals to about $600.

so, most curious what is that YOU have. and if it's "on the cheap", mind sharing? but if that's glue on pieces, don't even mention....

The real wood Camry parts.... Complete panels, far less than $400.

They were pulled from a car and I think this was a one off.

i am envious. now get a wooden matching trim shifter knob. it'll all shine. well, you have to replace the center console storage, dashboard storage cover, and shifter panels.

i don't think it's real wood though. real wood is EXPENSIVE. it's simulated wood. well, dealer upgrade is around $1100 installed. I'd still give it to Cartoys or such to have installed. WARRANTY.

you HAVE READ this thread, right?

Anyone like my Camry Hybrid XLE? ;)

you want to repeat my experience?

i apologize for caps, but EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT ON PICTURES ON INTERNET. have no doubt, there are thousnads of cars out there with those stickers glued inside. DE GUSTIBUS NON DISPUTANDUM EST. my opinion - they look butt ugly and ruin interior, as they are also almost impossible to remove once installed. without ruining trim.

I agree that some wood dash kits with too many pieces looks gaudy but a few pieces of a quality kit installed looks nice. That's why the wood look is used in many vehicles because it looks nice and the majority of people like the wood look.
