Custom 18" Rims Hybrid Camry

I own a 2007 toyota camry hybrid. I am looking to install aftermarket rims, so I need you opinion on two of my choices.

Drag DR 42s (1st) or Drag DR 37s (Second)

The car they would go on is in my sig.

Have you tried photoshopping them on? I'm a sucker for mesh wheels so my vote goes for the second one.

I have, but they don't have any good profile shots. The SE in this video is the same color as mine, with same color rims, so I based my judgement on that.

The second set looks better to me, but you may want to consider how changing the wheels is going to impact ride quality and handling.

Do realize that oversize wheels, especially when combined with tires that are not Low Rolling Resistance will decrease your mileage and make the performance a bit slower. The most critical dimension is the total weight of the wheel/tire combination; the heavier it is, the worse your penalty. The weight increase will also do damage to ride that's over and above the harshness from the shorter, stiffer tire sidewall.

If you do go with lightweight forged wheels and the right tire to stay (or even go below) the stock wheel weight, you will minimize the ride and handling impacts.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about new wheels also. What wheel tire/combination does anyone recommend? I want to put snow tires on my stock rims and some nice all seasons on 18's for the rest of the year.

I like the first set... and the second set. I thought there was a new Camry commercial out and the car had rims very similar to the second set. I wouldn't want to buy something original and then meet myself on the road anyway. My choice of the 2 would be the second set.

Since I have no budget for wheels Im considering just painting my originals with a Duplicor kit or some such.

$1k for those wheels? I've never even heard of that company. You can get a set of BBS RX wheels which look similar for close to that.
