Change oil and air filter every month on TCH?

The oil filter and air filter were changed on my 2008 Camry Hybrid and I entered the date on my vehicle's computer. Now 1 month later it gave me a reminder to change them again. If I hit reset, I notice it sets the reminder again for 1 month from now. Is that normal? Isn't. that way too soon?

whoever did your oil change should have reset reminder for whatever is that you reset it to. 5000 or whatever.

just erase that reminder. from what i remember, you press and hold mileage reset button in the cluster and then turn instruments to on, hold for something like 5 seconds, reset message appears, and simply ok it.

it needs extra attention on nav systems, as you may have service period reminders set in nav and will be haunting you. i have mine turned off and use stickers from Schucks. free. i change my oils above 10 000 miles.

You may have to set it to A trip then hold in the power button but not the brake. Watch the mfd readout for the graph to go across and your done.
