Aftermarket Radio

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but I decided to defer to you guys to be sure. I just purchased an 07 TCH and I assumed that I would be able to transfer my double din unit from my old car to this one, but it appears (according to Crutchfield) that there is not a harness or a way to do so because the "hybrid technology" runs throught the radio.

Any info or suggestions would be great.

nav or no nav? i have seen, about around friday, a direct fit headunit, as replacement for OEM TCH head unit, with nav/dvd. direct factory fit, sorta funny looking. why would they even be making them if it's impossible to fit?
why don't you simply go to CarToys and ask them? it's free of charge. i am not working for them, but i let THEM install my HD/USB player. so that i did not have to hassle with all that electronic madness. didn't really even cost that much, $120, but i got warranty. betcha they will find something for you.

i was thinking what would happen if i relocated the original radio to the trunk or glove box and installed an aftermarket radio ? u know like the GM cars that have the oil change stuff in the radio ...my friend did it to his so i know they relocate the stereos to the trunk ...my main question is will it affect the SENERGY system?
