Anyone like my Camry Hybrid XLE? ;)

Got my wood pieces in today. I think it turned out well. Considering the cost ($50) I am more than pleased!

The car this came from had heated seats and mine doesn't, at least the guy included the buttons so I don't have an empty spot.

The shifter labels obviously aren't right, but the notches are in the right places, so it works.

Now off to search for door trim.

Thoughts?

Update. I was able to replace the shift indicator trim. I had to break off a tab to do so, so it needed a little glue.

just PLEASE do not do glue on pieces. no matter how appealing they look online. i tried that route, it's a tasteless disaster. plus, if you return them, they charge you hefty restock fee. it's either PANELS, or nothing.

i did an EXTENSIVE research on wood trims for my Camry. i am not aware of anything that is an official toyota kit. the only thing that i found to be possibly working, was exactly what you got - replacement PANELS, which by toyota are called not wood, but "brown" trim. mof, it was not even panels, but i'd have had to buy the whole storage compartment WITH the lids for the floor console. it all totalled to over $600 pretax.

there is a company that sells PANELS in wood trim for landrovers, bimmers, llincolns, but they had nothing for camries and never responded to my email.

ANYTHING THAT IS GLUE ON WILL RUIN YOUR CAR.

mof, i had a kit purchased from some guy online that claimed them to be "exactly what dealer uses". i think, this is same items you consider being "official" kit. it's BS in capital letters. i layed them on my car, without removing backing, just to have general idea. junk. nothing matches, edges show, you can tell from mile away it's glue on sticker. and i bought the most expensive one they had. i lost a lot of money on return.

the only way it will look nice on doors is if you have the whole entire panels replaced with a panel made out of wood trim. of course, it's faux wood, you know that. you can get stickers made out of real wood. still stickers.

Yeah there are few OEM Toyota Kits available. I believe they are glue on.

There is a kit even for the XLE with wood as in Toyota knew they skimped on not including enough wood pieces.

I've never seen them installed though.

I see your install is exactly like the factory install.
I have the same issue as you do.A bit of a gap at the front of the shifter piece where it meets the other heated seats wood piece..
Seems the wood piece should be a bit longer to cover that small gap.
Maybe not a big deal but it kind of bugs me.

Oddly enough, the shifter piece and the heated seats piece was attached together when I got it. I never did anything with it other than attach it to the console.

well, at this point, i either repeat myself, or simply say "hugh, I spoke". that it is sold by a toyota dealer does not make it OFFICIAL toyota made quality stuff. it's exactly same pieces i returned to online distributor. glue on stickers, alias "appliques"

i am out of this thread.

Wow!
That is odd.
Looks like complaining to Toyota service won't fill that gap.
