Hi,

You MUST have the JBL sound system to complete this install successfully. Look for the JBL logo on the front of your current stereo. If you DO NOT have the JBL sound system, we have a source that sells a plug and play digital amplifier along with the jumper harness for $275. Please E-mail us for more information.
To install this 2007 - 2008 Camry Navigation system into a 2007 - 2008 Camry vehicle is not that hard as the two entities were made for each other and ONLY for each other. The hardest part is installing the speed/reverse sensor wire.
The 2007 Camry vehicle already comes with the blue tooth/voice command microphone, however you need to extract a few wires from the 16 pin plug that is already in your vehicle and insert them into the 24-pin plug on the Navigation system. Click here to see how to do so.
Simply remove your old unit from the dash, take all of those same plugs that were plugged into your single CD unit or 6 disc in-dash CD changer and plug them into the Navigation system. You will then have a full functioning unit minus the turn-by-turn guidance the speed/reverse sensor provides.
If you own a 2007 - 2008 Camry Hybrid, you might be able to take advantage of the energy monitor however we have yet to acquire the extra information on how to get the energy monitor into full operation. We were told it consists of finding 4 different wires within the vehicle. Your dealership may be able to further assist you with this install. We encourage anyone who has information about this install to post it on our message forums.

Thanks,

But that is for the OEM version and that site, does not even have and don't seems like they will have some for sale. I am looking for infos on the Eonon system for the hybrids.

at least, gives you good idea what it entices to have it installed. also, in the other post i linked you to, there's this:
http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.ph...tid=13331#tabs

and they do have those for sale. will it work for hybrid, is between you and them. as it appears that hybrids have some additional connections going through nav unit, hence lack of major "ease to do it" from aftermarket bunch. so far, sounds like Toyota did good job making it quite complicated for aftermarket folk. i can tell from my USB/HD player install and function. they constantly bitch about how hard it is to make anything work with Toyota head unit due to software limitations by T.
why don't you simply look around and get an OEM unit off salvage yard or online parts retailers?
