This is more of an informative post for others who may come across this thread than a reply/response to you or this thread, but it does apply nonetheless.

If that's the case, be sure to use adequate gauge wires for the setup. OEM parts will likely be correct, if they are truly OEM. Aftermarket parts, in particular, the inexpensive eBay ones (not everything inexpensive on eBay is made cheap) may skimp on the included wires to save on production costs. If you can find out how much current the system needs, you can check that against the gauge of the wire included with the system. Inadequate wires increase the likelihood of short circuiting and/or simply system failure, from as simple as the circuit itself to components in your vehicle.
If not using a manual switch (solely powered on when powering on headlights), you're definitely going to want to isolate the power draw of the fog lights from the headlights by using a relay and drawing directly from the batter. This will involve using more wiring (most of the eBay kits will include this with the relay), but it's a lot safer. Besides, if the fuse blows or the relay fails, it's just your fogs that won't work. Your headlights will continue to function. The alternative would leave you without front lighting altogether despite it being easier if you'd prefer a "clean" install.
Depending on the function of the switch (independent vs override), you may have to plan ahead for the later installation as well.
