Replacement Tires

I recently switched tires for the 3rd time....Had Michelin Primacy MXV H rated....loved these tires. Great ride handling and milesage increase. I when to replace them at my local Tire Kingdom....rotated and balnce checked every 5000 Alignment twice a year.....they lasted about 45000. Wanted a new set but got jerked around by Tire Kingdom on warrenty they final said 10% off the $ 850.00 price....this was BS cause they were all worn alittle different. They didn't bother to take care of me the customer by doing the proper calculations.
Pissed off I when to BJ's bought BF Goodrich Advantage tires same 60000 mile warrenty at 495.00 and "V" rated...Graer ride, good handling and quiet......BUT lost 2 mpgs honestly. Since I will be replacing car soon it was a good move but for mileage the Michelins where much better.
Just my two cents for the aid of the forum....TCH is such a great car

After a few hundred miles and I dumped the Bridgestone EL400's for the Michelin Primacy's.I had the Primacy's before and loved them.
You could have bought from Tire Rack.I have bought my tires from them for years.
A Primacy Tire Rack purchase sent to a local installer in your area for under $600 shipped.Less with Michelin $70 rebate now.
So around $530 + installation.

if you can afford them. even better fill them with nitrogene.

folks overinflate theirs, run them at forty for better mpg. i don't. i feel, a mile saved will cost me tenfold in suspension shot sooner and repairs.
sorry to disturb the fine fabric of this forum. i buy tires either at mexican place here, or on craigslist. just had 2 studdies for her (Hancooks) from amigos for $70 each mounted on steelies(included) and balanced. new.

most fuel efficient tires:

14 inch wheels:

$071 0.0062 Bridgestone/Firestone B381 P185/70R14: (another report said 0.00615)

I am listing only this tire for this size since its the absolute best LRR tire out of ANY SIZE and there is NO EXCUSE not to get it as it will save you more money over its lifetime than it would cost to even ship them over (if they are not available in your area).

15 inch wheels:

$090 0.00760 Bridgestone/Firestone Insignia SE 200 89S P195/65R15
$048 0.00780 General Tire Ameri-G4S WS P235/75R15
$065 0.00813 Goodyear Invicta GL 235/75R15
$101 0.00869 Michelin Energy LX4 P205/65R15
$075 0.00864 Michelin Steel Belted Radial P205/75/R15

16 inch wheels

$108 0.00650 Michelin Symmetry P225/60/R16
$079 0.00683 Michelin Tiger Paw AWP P255/60R16
$??? 0.00758 Goodyear Integrity P225/60R16
$067 0.00795 Michelin Tiger Paw Touring TR/SR P215/70R16
$??? 0.00810 Bridgestone/Firestone Dueler H/T 104S P235/70R16

17 inch wheels

$??? 0.00700 Bridgestone/Firestone Dueler H/t 113S P265/70R17
$195 0.00709 Michelin Rugged Trail T/A P285/70R17
$164 0.00754 Michelin LTX A/s P255/65R17
$096 0.00767 Michelin Rugged Trail T/a P245/65R17
$181 0.00829 Michelin Cross Terrain SUB P255/75R17

Yeah, I recently just replaced my factory Michelin's that my TCH had with Michelin Primacy's as well; and the H rated tire too. We don't need a V rated tire on this car. I really don't think anyone with a TCH will want to or could drive 149MPH!

Love the Primacy's...
