DENSO SK20R11
NGK 1FR6A11

that's what manual calls for. better are HALO plugs, as they do improve gas mileage, but donot have as much warranty as the OEM ones. plus, who knows how that computer on 4 wheels will respond to foreign plugs.

by design. HALO plugs are developed by HALO Brisk, old Czech company that goes back into 1928 or so. They specialize in performance and marine spark plugs and have several original designs, patented so that they can't be reproduced. HAL plug has a full crown, or halo, on 3 prongs. This creates additional points of discharge, providing increased size and power spark ball.
I had extensive research done on spark plugs, and so far, HALOs are the only ones that have official government research proving they do improve mpg. Not by much, 1-1.3 mpg, but research was done by Ontario state on their fleet of street cleaning trucks, so it adds up to substantial savings.
They are guaranteed for 48000 miles only. 8 bucks a piece. Iridium NGKs are cheaper than them.
