Hi all,
I just bought a 2009 TCH.
I logged into diagnostic mode and found the following error:
LAN Monitor AVN:
01-DB 140-2B-6

Could anyone tell me what this exactly means??

I normally call dealer or swing by and ask. They will tell. Not happy with you digging this out, but they will.

well, well, well...

is there REAL need to worry about? is anything not working right?

LAN is local area network normally, AVN is possibly having some to do with audio, but I am shooting wild guesses, now that dealer does not know.

if you are a type that must know what it is, or you will lose your sleep over it, write email to Toyota customer service and TELL THEM that you already have "we have no clue" response from dealer, so that they do not bounce you back to them.

I said that I went to the dealer and they refused to tell me the meaning of the code.

I already know some details about the errors, but the error code I am asking about is not even listed in the repair manual.

And of course, since there is an error, then something isn't working correctly fro sure.

ha-ha, not quite exactly, but let us all know what you fish out. now, itch is known to me too, so don't fix it if it ain't brok.
