Installed(ing) 2010 XLE ebony leather seats into 2009 Hybrid

Just installed the full interior, passenger side is missing a plug (2 wire) (just ground and power, for the power seat). Driver side fits and all plugs up perfectly. the rear seats, are hell. we have 60/40 on the original hybrid seats, the xle is a one piece design.

Also, we have heat shield/plates of some sort on the back of our seats. i believe it is to eliminate or disperse excess heat from the big o battery in the trunk. the bottom cushions lines up and clips in perfectly. the top rear seats do not line up correctly, due to the middle console, however, the seats do fit nice and snug into the car.

has anyone else tried this, or came across a solution? i may have to do some custom mods to make it clip on and seat flush... but i'm hoping for some help and or guidance. thanks.. .

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but you are going to need to go custom. Get some metal brackets and self-drilling metal screws at home depot and fabricate. I am not sure of any of this, I am just saying what I would do. I can tell you that with XLE relining seats, the batter poses an issue. But just fabricate - and make sure it is strong so If you crash thy don't fly into you.
