Hello guys,

Just wanted to say hello. I'll be joining this forum with my latest purchase.

I originally had a 2007 Camry SE V6. Then I had a 2011 Lexus IS 350 AWD. Now I went to a 2008 Camry Hybrid because I want to lower my costs due to a condo purchase.

The car is a 2008 Magnetic Grey with grey leather, JBL sound, moonroof, heated seats, etc. It has about 100,000km for just $15,500 Canadian.

My immediate mods:
17" ASA AR1 Wheels and Toyo Garit KX winter tires
20% Metallic tint
Weathertech Floorliners
4300K Morimoto Bi-Xenon HID Retrofit
Maple Wood Trim for the Interior

My "soon" mods:
4-sensor rear parking system
Subwoofer in the trunk
Upgraded 6.5" Front Speakers
Upgraded Dash Speakers
Upgraded 6" x 9" Rear Coaxial Speakers

I have a ton of experience in modding the Gen6 Camry and it feels great to be back in the saddle of a Camry!!! I'm expecting to pick up the car on Wednesday.

Thank you guys. I've been talking to one of my mod guys and we might try to do one of the first bi-xenon retrofits on a Camry ever.

A small update...

This Thursday I'm having a 4-sensor rear parking system installed on the Camry.

Also I'm getting rid of all the JBL speakers and amplifier.

A reputable audio store is doing a custom Italian Hertz sound system in my Camry. RMS (continuous) wattage will be 780W with burst power at 1560W.

In the front we're putting in 6.5" component speakers with separate crossovers. In the rear, the 6 x 9" speakers are getting changed with 2-way Hertz speakers. They're putting in a 10" sub in a custom molded enclosure on the left of the trunk.

They'll be using a 5-channel amplifier which will drive 120W RMS to each of the speakers plus 300W RMS to the sub.

We'll retain the stock JBL head unit so that Bluetooth still works and also the steering controls.

I'll post back on Friday with the results.

I'll get the car tinted in the 1st week or December and also the bi-xenon retrofit should happen in early December as well (waiting for parts).
