I am looking at buying a Hybrid camry, I will be putting about 25,000 miles on the car per year but have a few questions.

1. How long is the Hybrid battery supposed to last? Is there a mileage or month expectancy on it?
2. When you do have to replace the battery how much is a new one?

1. so far, based on Prius used as cabs, batteries last well into 200-300 000 miles. Without any major drop in performance
2. why worry then? but anyhow, you can find a used one for as low as $400 off junk yards and ebay. There's no market for them. Don't break. Those are batteries used in airplanes. Built to last.

WARNING!!! If you want to sleep well, you either do not buy a Hybrid, or stop worrying about this.
