Hybrid and Cams Question

Correct me if i'm worng here but, the 5SFE is a DOHC but the exhaust cam is actuated by the intake cam via some kind of scissor valve, jack, thingy.

The 3SGTE is True DOHC with each cam actuated seperately.

So, if i were to use a 3SGTE Head on my 5SFE would that enable me to use 3SGTE cams as well?

Correct.

Theres only one camgear (on the intake cam) and the intake cam drives the exhaust cam.

Yes.

You use the cams for that cylinder head.

Don't use the cams from a 5S-FE. They wouldn't work anyways.

The sensors, ignition system, wiring, etc... are different.

You can't just bolt up the cylinder head, plug stuff in, and expect it to work.
