Gen5 Digital A/C & MPG

Does anybody know how, what or can it be done.

I have an LE and i want to change my A/C nobs to the digital ones, and i also want to have the clock/MPG thingy, Does anybody know what i have to do to change these.

For the A/C can i just take out the digital from another '02 Cam and put it in place of mine?
As for the MPGs i figure i need some sort of computer, where can that be found, can it be removed, etc.

Thanks in advance

when you say "digital a/c", i assume your referring to the button controls?

the only Camrys which had those button controls, are ones with Climate Control
if you just have A/C, you get the knob controls...
not any easy way around it unfortunately

My car has climate control and electronics push buttons, and is something that can't be converted to. The wiring loom and related controllers are all different, so you'd really have to swao EVERYTHING over (a/c, heating system etc etc).

I believe (and this is speculation) that that would be possible. I think the only thing different there is the electronics inside the actual ODO/MPG meter, in which case would simply just plug in to replace your old one. Chek the plugs on both modules and see if they resemble each other. If they do, then your probobly in luck.

The plug is the same, but the wiring is slightly different on XLE's, which are the only Camry's that have digital AC and the MPG info.
