Hi all,

i just came back from Toyota. I asked them how much for the PCV Valve for my 1998 V6 Camry and they told me it was $44aud ($33usd).

is this too expensive???

I thought they sell them for $20.

yeah thats a lot of dealer price markup ...is your PCV Valve worn out how many miles on your camry? f.y.i. they can be cleaned out

they can be clean out?

it has done 140,000km+ i dont think my mechanic replace them before. looks pretty dirty to me.

how do you clean them?

shake it, if it still rattles, you might luck out. if it doesn't, you may still have a chance.

just put them in a bowl of solution.-----a cleaner that doesn't eat plastic will do

serious???? damn. ive checked couple of my local auto shops and they dont have it. so far toyota is the best place to get them.

well.....ive cleaned the PCV valve... seems to be in good condition might not have to replace them. it rattles so
