front end help

hey guys. need some help here.

i brought my car to a body shop because it was involved in a minor fender bender (long story, whatever). i got the car back on friday and there are some front end things that are annoying me and the body shop is denying everything.

1. underneath both headlights, do you guys have like a rubber filler strip going through? they claim i have a gap between the bumper and lights because i have no filler...hell, i never even heard of it.
2. is there any actual gap between the bumper itself and the lower portoin of the headlight? i don't have sufficient close up pics of how it was before but now there is a gap between the right headlight and the bumper while the left headlight is nice and snug.

yes, i have a strip that connects the two headlights that runs under the grill. its metal as far as i know.

as far as the gap, there shouldnt be much at all, especially if the LH and RH are different. you can kinda see the gap with this pic:

yes, both headlights have rubber pieces that clip into the bumper to get rid of the gap between the headlight and the bumper

for the different sized gaps between the two lights, check to make sure they are aimed exactly the same, because the aiming of the headlights physically point the lenses in different directions and can make them not line up to the side lights/grill/bumper correctly

if all that is kosher, then start checking the alignment of hte actual bumper itself, and then the upper bumper support which is where the lights are mounted
