lighting question?

in my dash on the speed dom. how do i change the color on the needle i was searching i ran a across a thread and says all i have to do is color it with nail polish but is this possible i wanted it to be blue blue....

WEll, you can put in a blue bulb behind it.

I turned mine from Orange to Red using a Permanent Marker.

Going to blue would require a bulb change behind the needle as well as some coloring.

what i did was put a gel cap over the bulb and use nail polish and painted the needle blue came out real good but i had to take the needle off to do it and now i think the needle or not reading right if there is a way to fix this please show me how.
