4th Generation tune-up ?

Hi everybody..
So i bought my car last year(V6) with about 58k miles now i have 78k miles...
so my original plan was to do a "full tune-up" like 100k ... I changed the fuel filter about 8k miles ago.. and i got the cleanable K&N air filter...
But i got no records about the maintinance of the car ...(carfax tells you only about acidents right?)
so is it a good idea to just wait or just change spark plugs and the wires for now... I know that its good to change them every 30k ... So what do you suggest....

Thanks

You can replace the plugs anytime between 60k and 100k miles. THere should be a sticker under the hood that tells when Toyota recommends replacing them. I have a Gen3 V6 and it is 60k miles but I thought it was longer on the newer ones. You can also check your owners manual and it will tell youwhen they recommend replacing any tune up parts. As far as the wires there arent any wires. THe V6 is coil on plug so all you have to do is replace the plugs. You may want to replace hte PCV valve, clean the throttle body and run some seafoam through it. You can do a search on seafoam. It is an upper engine cleaner and you can get it at jsut about any parts store. If you havent had the transmission fluid changed or flushed you might want to do taht also. You can jsut doa drain and refill or take it somewhere and have it flushed. THere are varying aopinions on which route to go with this though. ALso go to the dealer and get a gas cap o-ring. You may be able to get it somewhere else but the dealer will for sure have it. This will jsut save you from having to do it later when you fail your emissions test from it not sealing well. That is about it for tune up type stuff. Obviously in about 12k miles or so you will want to consider replacing the timing belt and any associated seals and tensioners and ater pump possibly also.
